At some point next summer I will need to change the name of this blog from "The Drurys in Jersey" to "The Drurys in Indiana." It doesn't have quite the same ring, but we are absolutely thrilled about this change. John was offered and accepted a position teaching theology and Christian ministry at Indiana Wesleyan's new seminary. I'll have (hopefully) completed my comprehensive exams at that point and will be working on my dissertation.I'm a bit teary at the thought of leaving Jersey friends behind (I've been here since 2002), but I'm very eager to take this next step. Thanks for your prayers and support along the way. Marion, here we come!
More here.

I heard the news yesterday, and couldn't help but wonder if you guys would be moving here. That's awesome!
Congratulations, you guys! That is great.
Well, I am so excited I can hardly type... maybe I will just punch a whole bunch of random keys right now to get out my excitement... hold on a minute...alsjdfjklakfjdhdlfhsalkhfl sdhfdslfhsfklhfa ... YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SOOOO happy that you are coming. What have I done to deserve you AND Holly in the same town with me???(Not to mention Kathy Drury as well- whom I have come to know and love). Sad for you to leave what is surely a beautiful town for, well, Marion, but I am selfishly excited at the same time. Can't wait to see you soon!
PS- Free Sam sitting at the Ewer home is included in the "Moving-to-Marion" package. Caleb will welcome a new male friend. He is the only boy in his Sunday school class and in the neighborhood!
Thanks Everyone!
Liz, we plan to move every Friday night from 6-8 pm, so we'll go ahead and plan on dropping Sam off weekly.

When our children all entered the ministry we bid them goodbye and figured we'd never live in the same town again for the rest of our lives as just "part of the overhead" of a ministerial life. Gee, does this mean WE have to move out of Marion now--or maybe it os like Abraham offering up Isaac then getting him back alive after all. ;-)
Mandy I just called your phone squealing! Cogratulations! I know that you are going to do amazing things for IWU.
Happy for you. Love you BOTH! :) Just read the blog report too. Such a great write up. :) Admit I'm a **leeetle** jealous that you & Holly still get to have each other! ;) But so happy you're closer and in such a great ministry fit.

Congratulations! We are so excited for you all as you embark on this new adventure. Much love!

Heard the news just the other day via Paul. So excited for you! Sounds like you'll have a wonderful new house as well! Will you be teaching as well after you finish your degree?
Well, I just got this news from reading your post. Surprised I haven't heard it yet through the grape vine :), but it doesn't surprise me at all to hear about the transition from Drury's in Jersey to the Drury's in Indiana. John will be a great addition to the seminary faculty! Please give my congrats to him.
Dear sweet daughter, Amanda, Only approximately 211 days until you move to Indiana. (Can you tell I'm counting the days? :)
Now Sam will only be 3 hours away instead of 13. YIPPPEEEEEE
I can hardly wait - and I am praising the Lord for this wonderful blessing!
I love you!
