My Mom Thinks I'm Cool--Part Two

Last night was my first parent's meeting at church. I wanted to wear an outfit that said to the parents, "I'm-adult-enough-to-take-your-teenager-whitewater-rafting," while saying to the students, "I'm-cool-I'm-hip-please-like-me." I thought I was pretty successful in my endeavor until I got home...

Just as I was stepping into my apartment, John said, "Did you know that you have a tag sticking out of your pants?"

Jeesh.

I haven't quite mastered the "I'm-old-enough-to-take-your-student-white-water-rafting" look yet. At junior high summer camp I walked into the cabin to greet my girls and they thought I was seventeen. Sigh.
I'm sure the tag was endearing.;-)

Endearing? I hope so. I'm actually hoping to score some good Christmas presents from the students now that they all know what size I wear.

Thanks for the comments, Kar. I'll go to Part 5 and continue the conversation from there...

You go girl! ....and your mother-in-law...i.e., mother-in-love, thinks you are cool, too!
(Maybe I'll try to remember to take the tags off of your next clothing present ;-)
